BBC Homes & Antiques makes a visit

On 2nd March 2009, Alexander Paul Antiques welcomed BBC Homes and Antiques Magazine to their showroom in Honiton.

As part of a monthly feature delving into antique refurbishment, BBC Homes and Antiques called upon the expertise of the team at Alexander Paul Antiques

to demonstrate to its readers the techniques that go into the refurbishment of farmhouse tables.

Angela Linforth, Editor, along with photographer Mark, spent the day being educated on the meticulous

processes that take place to restore French farmhouse tables back to their former glory.

Some of the stages photographed were designed to show readers how they can take on certain aspects of restoration themselves,

such as filling of gaps and polishing, but the visit was the ideal opportunity for the BBC Homes & Antiques team to witness

the skill of experienced craftsman and the quality of Alexander Paul Antiques products.

Pictured here are some of the behind the scenes shots of the day, and the full feature will be published in the May 2009 issue of BBC Homes and Antiques,

out on the shelves of leading newsagents in early April.

Alexander Paul Antiques would like to take this opportunity to thank  Angela and Mark for making the journey down to Honiton.
